Vegan-Strawberry-Julius-SmoothieHappy Shut Up and Smoothie day, you sexy beasts.

Not to be a total cliché, but the holidays really snuck up on me this year, and I’m freaking out just the teeniest bit. My book manuscript is due in T-26 days (insert endless string of profanities), I don’t have the faintest clue what to get my parents for Christmas (insert more profanities), and I haven’t been able to watch Elf or Love Actually yet (that one deserves an actual “fuck”). I also feel a cold coming on.

In short, OUR PETS’ HEADS ARE FALLING OFF.

Anyone else feeling a little holiday stress? (Anyone? Bueller?) If so, remember: you are not alone. (I am here with youuuu.) December is hands down the craziest month of the year, and God knows our bods need a little extra TLC to keep up. I’m all for giant bowls of kale and pots of chicken soup, but for a quick pick-me-up, this vegan C-Blast Smoothie has become my winter go-to. It’s bursting with vitamin C, and I can wholeheartedly vouch for both its cold/flu fighting powers and hangover reducing capabilities. Plus, it tastes like an old school Strawberry Julius, which is obviously bomb. Childhood nostalgia for everyone!

Make it.

I’m looking at this picture and feel a pregnancy craving coming on. Need to make this ASAP! (And by “make,” I mean need to send list of ingredients to my husband so he can go buy them and make it. Come on guys, my back hurts.)
