Berry-Cherry Smoothie

This smoothie blend of dark sweet cherries, berries, spinach, almond butter, and plenty of cinnamon is so deliciously simple. It's also vegan, gluten-free, banana-free and protein-packed!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop Vital Proteins collagen protein optional
  • 2 teaspoons hemp or chia seeds optional
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ¼-½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • A few drops pure vanilla extract optional
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • ½ cup frozen dark sweet cherries
  • cups frozen berries of your choice I usually do a mix of blueberries and strawberries, but I love raspberries from time to time.

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. (Duh.)

Notes

The smoothie blends best if you add the ingredients in the order listed! And please be patient. This is a thick smoothie and it may need a minute or so to blend.
